Day Trips

REGIONE-VERDE-D'EUROPAThere are many places to visit in Abruzzo’s extraordinary landscape. Golden wheat fields, green woods, blue sea, white snow-capped peaks. The colours of the Abruzzo tell the story of a varied landscape. Nature is without doubt the protagonist in a region that values and preserves its ancient beauty. Explore our famous National Parks of the Gran Sasso and the Maiella, or head to the less known but equally magical reserves of Monte Velino, Lake Campotosto, and Feudo Intramonti. For those who prefer the sea, visit a different beach every day by travelling along the motorway A14 or the Strada Statale 16 road. There is always a quiet corner to hide away in.

From the Hotel Berti in Silvi Marina, you can reach all the main towns and small villages of our fantastic region. They are within an hour’s drive of Silvi Marina, a great place to stay for a great day out.

While touring the region, why not visit the local trattorias, farmhouses, restaurants and wine cellars and taste the local food and wine with family and friends. In the company of an expert guide or travelling independently, Abruzzo reveals its many faces and tells a story of legends, mysteries and ancestral traditions.
